ViaMari Merges With Fractional Yacht Firm SeaNet

ViaMari, a yachting destination club, has announced that it has merged with SeaNet, a fractional yacht company. The new company will operate under the name of the former.

The merger immediately gives existing ViaMari club members access to more than a dozen Sunseeker yachts in six destinations, including Cabo San Lucas and Costa Rica.

The merger is mutually beneficial for both SeaNet and ViaMari, greatly increasing ViaMari’s seaborne fleet, while providing SeaNet with a ready-for-market yacht club.

“ViaMari was built to dovetail perfectly with existing destination or private residence clubs who wish to add a yachting component to their club,” commented George Schoell, founder of ViaMari and CEO. “ViaMari provides a consistent, first rate yachting experience to the members who want it, without having to penalize 'non-boating' members by spreading the cost out to all members.”

Additionally, ViaMari offers a solution for non-destination club members who enjoying yachting but prefer not to carry the investment and maintenance costs themselves, Schoell explained.

ViaMari currently offers two programs: the first is a regional program, consisting of 50-75 foot yachts in a specific region (e.g. the Caribbean); and the second is an International program, consisting of yachts 80 feet and up. These will be in destinations like the Mediterranean, the Adriatic, and the Pacific Rim.
