Taiwan Collected Record Tax Revenues In 2017

Taiwan collected record tax revenue in 2017, according to Ministry of Finance figures released on January 10.

Total tax collections reached TWD2.23 trillion (USD75.5bn), up 0.4 percent year-on-year.

This tax-take was equal to 103.6 percent of the annual Budget, resulting in a tax windfall for state coffers of TWD77.4bn.
