Pakistan Invites Pre-Budget Comments

by Mary Swire, Tax-News.com, Hong Kong

08 January 2018

Pakistan has invited feedback from interested parties on measures to be included in the country's 2018-19 Budget.

The Government has specifically asked for feedback from both local and foreign businesses as well as accounting and legal professionals with regards "workable tax policy" measures.

The Federal Board of Revenue said it hopes to improve the country's tax laws, broaden the country's tax base to boost the tax-to-gross domestic product ratio, and improve taxpayer services.

Comments are invited by January 18, 2018.
