The OECD has announced that registration is open for a December 15 webcast that will provide an update on the work of the OECD's Centre for Tax Policy and Administration on international tax reform.
The webcast will last one hour, beginning at 14:00 Central European Time (CET).
The webcast will cover the taxation of the digitalized economy and provide an update on base erosion and profit shifting work, including progress on the Multilateral Instrument to amend tax treaties and the latest on mutual agreement procedures.
It will also discuss tax policy, with an update on revenue statistics and the OECD's work on promoting inclusive growth, and discuss the importance of tax certainty and the International Compliance Assurance Programme.
Finally, the webcast will discuss a new public discussion draft on mandatory disclosure rules, with the OECD recently announcing that it is seeking help from stakeholders to tackle schemes intended to enable taxpayers to avoid automatic tax information reporting under the Common Reporting Standard.
