Chinese Tax Incentives To Support Scientific Research

The Chinese Government has proposed improving tax incentives for scientific research.

Following the latest Executive Meeting of the State Council on August 23, Chinese Premier Li Kequiang announced that the Government would review the tax settings for research projects.

According to a briefing from the Government, the changes being mooted include improvements to tax arrangements for investors in scientific projects and to the tax concessions available for research and development activities.
