Argentina has extended the filing deadline for the annual declaration from employees on income tax and personal property.
Under the announcement, employees with gross annual revenues of more than ARS500,000 (USD31,390) in 2016 will have until July 21 to file the declaration (Form 572 – declaraciones juradas informativas de Ganancias y Bienes Personales). This must include information on income received and the value of asset held at December 31.
The date for paying tax on such income/assets remains unchanged, the tax authority said.
Meanwhile Argentina's tax authority has said that taxpayers have until June 28 to pay any tax due on foreign currency futures investments made in 2016.
