Andora will feature
in Expo 2000 Hanover, scheduled to open from June until October
2000. The theme will be "Mankind-Nature-Technology". The Principality
will display its natural attractions, mountain sports and services.
The goal is to provide as much information as possible about the
opportunities available in Andorra after the modernisation program
the Principality has undertaken to remain competitive amongst
its European neighbours.
Andorra successfully
participated, in terms of attendance, in Expo 98 in Lisbon. At
Hanover 2000 there will be information available on the ski resorts,
the beautiful scenery and Andorra's unique Romanesque cultural
heritage. Its traditions remain evident in the various museums
throughout the tiny Principality.
A series of cultural activities take place throughout the year
ranging from jazz festivals to international events at the summer
university. A visit to the Andorran pavilion at Expo 2000 Hanover
should be a delightful experience. Hopefully, the visitors will
be tempted to discover the Principality personally.
