The Ajman Free Zone in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced on January 13, 2016, that it has opened a new representative office in New Delhi, India.
The free zone already has offices in Manchester, Dubai, Mumbai, and, most recently, Karachi.
Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashimi, General Manager of Ajman Free Zone Authority, said that the opening of the new representative office in New Delhi comes as a "logical and expected step" in the zone's strategy for expansion into new international markets.
The business incentives offered by the Zone, in Ajman, one of seven emirates in the United Arab Emirates, include total exemption from all import and export duties, and no personal or corporate income tax. 100 percent foreign ownership is permitted.
