Chilean finance minister, Felipe Larraín, has announced that the government had begun negotiation of Tax Information Exchange Agreements with a series of low-tax jurisdictions as a way of combating tax evasion.

Liechtenstein’s parliament has, by a large majority, approved 11 tax agreements submitted by the government and which are compliant with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s standards on tax information exchange.
