Yorkshire Guernsey announced last week that it has appointed Rachel Court as its non-executive chairman.
Mrs Court is currently human resources general manager at parent company Yorkshire Building Society and according to Yorkshire Guernsey, "brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience within this industry".
It continued:
"Having joined the Society in 1991, Mrs Court has gained broad experience across the Group particularly within the mortgage and investment services divisions. She was appointed sales director of Accord Mortgages Limited (a subsidiary of Yorkshire Business Society) before becoming the product development manager for the Society’s mortgage range."
Mrs Court will be joining fellow non–executive board members Carol Goodwin, Andy Caton, Andrew Gosling and Tim Betley.
Managing director of Yorkshire Guernsey, Peter Symes announced that:
"We are thrilled that Rachel is joining the team, bringing fifteen years
of expertise and a proven track record to compliment the local board. It is
quite a rarity to have two leading ladies and I feel proud and privileged that
Yorkshire Guernsey has this opportunity."
