The government of Vanuatu, its financial institutions and telecommunications industry are quickly restructuring to provide investors with first class legislation, a user-friendly administration, and global Internet service for ecommerce and business to business activities of Vanuatu International Companies.
In February 2000, the Government announced a pro-commerce policy and immediately began the formulation of new legislation that will facilitate the rapid advancement of ecommerce in Vanuatu.
Internet use has already made significant advances in Vanuatu. The modern, high speed satellite internet link has enabled on-line gaming as well as IP service facilities that are on a par with any other island country - and better than some traffic-jammed continental sites.
If you want to set up an offshore ecommerce site selling digital products or services, or if you want to make on-line business transactions in the oldest financial centre of the Pacific, Vanuatu is a logical choice.
