US And New Zealand To Negotiate Protocol To Tax Treaty

The United States and New Zealand announced last Thursday that they plan to begin negotiations on a protocol to amend the existing bilateral income tax treaty, which entered into force in 1983.

The first round of negotiations is expected to take place from 16th June in Washington, DC

The US Treasury Department stated that it welcomes written comments from the public regarding the upcoming negotiations.
