UK Signs New Double Tax Convention With France

It emerged last week that the United Kingdom has entered into a new Double Taxation Convention with France.

The agreement was signed in London on January 28 by UK Paymaster General, Dawn Primarolo, and French Ambassador, Gérard Errera.

The text of the Convention will, in due course be laid as a Schedule to a Draft Order in Council for consideration by the House of Commons, and will come into force once both countries have completed their legal procedures.
