Tranaut, a hedge fund administration company, has opened an offshore administration office for hedge funds in Dublin. It took a year for Tranaut to get there but it has now received the green light from the local regulatory authorities.
Tranaut also has an offshore operation in Bermuda with funds such as the $300m Concordia Fund and the Clarke & Bartlett European Equity Fund on its books. The company uses Tradar, a portfolio management system, and has developed a proprietary fund administration system designed to meet the needs of each individual client.
The company says that now it has operations both in Bermuda and Ireland it is ideally situated to ensure 'efficient communication with both investment managers and shareholders. This is critical for all parties involved in a hedge fund to feel that they are receiving a premium service.'
'Tranaut is a company created to provide hedge fund administration services,' said Stuart Drake, managing director, 'everything, including our culture, structure, employees, and technology, has been geared to that objective.'
