Taxware Software Now Integrated With Oracle's Enterprise

Taxware's tax calculation software, Taxware Enterprise, has been integrated with Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise 8.9 Financial Management and Supply Chain Management package, announced the firm last week.

Taxware, part of First Data Corp, is a provider of global transaction tax calculation and compliance solutions.Taxware says it is the first tax provider to achieve validated integration (formerly known as certification) between its products and Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise 8.9, ensuring simplified integration and rapid application deployment for the growing ranks of businesses with tax calculation and compliance needs.

Taxware Enterprise version 4.3 provides integrated, pre-configured financial and tax compliance solutions for users of Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise 8.9 Financial Management, including Payables, and Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise 8.9 Supply Chain Management including Order Management, Billing, and Purchasing.

Targeted at mid- to large-size enterprises, Taxware Enterprise determines sales and use tax liabilities for over 8,000 state and local jurisdictions in the US. In addition to the sales and use tax component of Taxware Enterprise that has received validation, Taxware Enterprise also helps determine Value Added Tax (VAT) and other consumption taxes for more than 150 countries worldwide. In addition to satisfying US and international needs, Taxware Enterprise can be deployed locally or centrally to manage the tax compliance of multiple related or unrelated companies. There are more than 27,000 taxing jurisdictions worldwide, many of which change frequently. Complex tax rules are updated as needed by Taxware’s in-house tax attorneys and associates.

In addition to its adaptors for PeopleSoft Enterprise 8.9, Taxware, a member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork, offers Taxware Enterprise adaptors for integrating with Oracle® 11i E-Business Suite applications, including Oracle Receivables, Oracle Payables and Oracle Purchasing. Taxware Enterprise adaptors are also available for Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise 8.8 and Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise 8.9 Customer Relationship Management.
