A film production investment vehicle will be launched in Argentina in February to take advantage of a new law exempting such investments from capital gains tax.
InvertFilm I, based on Wall Street models used to finance Hollywood movies, will securitize receivables from box office sales, DVD and TV revenues and foreign rights.
The issue, which aims to raise US$5m, has been organized by service provider Alta Definición Argentina, production comoany BDCine, post-production company Cinecolor Argentina, distributor Distribución Company Argentina and marketing company Filmsuez.
The issue will be marketed by Cohen Sociedad de Bolsa in Buenos Aires.
