Sixth Round Of Negotiations To Take Place On Japan-Switzerland EPA

It was announced this week that the Sixth Round of Negotiations on the Japan-Switzerland Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) will be held from the 19th to 23rd May in Lugano, Switzerland.

In this Round, Jun Yokota, Representative of the Government of Japan (Chief Negotiator), and other officials from relevant ministries for the Japanese side, and Luzius Wasescha, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Switzerland to the WTO, State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (Chief Negotiator) and other officials from relevant ministries for the Swiss side will participate.

At the meetings, issues such as trade in goods, trade in services, investment, intellectual property rights, electronic commerce and other areas will be discussed.
