Fitzrovia's seventh edition of the Isle of Man's Fund Encyclopedia has revealed that total net assets of investment funds authorised in the Isle of Man amounted to US$6.73 billion as at June 30, which is an increase of 19.75 per cent from last year.
Paul Moulton, chief executive of the leading research company, said: 'This evidence provides real signs for optimism in the Isle of Man's funds industry, and appears to be a reward for the innovative new regulatory structures, such as the Experienced Investor Scheme.'
According to the Encylopedia, the total number of authorised funds - including those that are established on the Island or have administration or custody service providers based there - increased by 42 per cent over the year to June 30, this year.
