CapitalAsset Link Ltd will offer a complete range of investment management services to High Net-Worth Individuals (HINWI) in Cyprus. Shareholders of the company will be Sharelink Financial Services Ltd with 75% and Marios St. Ioannides with 25%, according to an agreement between the two parties.
Sharelink Financial Services Ltd (SFS) announced that the decision to proceed had been taken at a board meeting on 27th December 2000. SFS said that the aims of CapitalAsset Link Ltd would be, amongst others, the provision of a complete range of financial services to individuals, including wealth management and asset management, as well as private banking services according to the needs of each client. The products and services of CapitalAsset Link Ltd. would be mainly aimed at high net worth individuals for investments both in Cyprus and abroad, said Chairman and Managing Director of the company, Marios Ioannides.
SFS said it had acquired 74,999 shares of CapitalAsset Link Ltd of CYP 1.00 nominal value for the sum of CYP 74.999. There is no goodwill derived from the transaction. The company said that the investment would not have a material effect on group results for 2000, but was anticipated to positively affect its results for 2001 onwards.
