To help businesses lodge their business activity statements (BAS) online, the Seychelles Revenue Commission (SRC) has issued a guide that explains its e-filing and e-payment services.
The guide explains how a taxpayer can access the web-based products on the Taxation e-Service homepage, the Government's e-service gateway, or the SRC's website.
First, the guide covers how employers can submit payroll details and determine their liability to remit income tax withheld on behalf of employees.
Other sections describe how to file VAT returns and returns for other indirect taxes. Last, the guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough of how to complete an annual BAS and view tax due for the year.
