Serbian Minister for Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic signed a convention for the avoidance of double taxation and fiscal evasion with respect to income taxes with his Danish counterpart Per Stig Moller during an official visit to Denmark on May 15.
According to a statement from the Serbian Foreign Ministry, the agreement will replace the 1981 convention concluded between Denmark and the former Yugoslavia.
The convention will remove double taxation arising from trade and investment by individuals and companies in the respective countries as well as providing a beneficial legal framework. The agreement will enter into force after both parties have ratified the treaty.
