The latest edition of Fitzrovia International's Guernsey Fund Encyclopaedia shows that total assets under management in the island rose during the year to June 30th by 35% to $47.3bn.
Equity funds accounted for $14.9bn of this, followed by venture capital funds with $6.5bn. Guernsey-domiciled funds account for $36.1bn of the total, with $23bn of funds being open-ended and $13.1bn close-ended.
Schroders Investment Management has the largest amount under management, while Guernsey International Fund Managers is the top administrator. Credit Suisse is top custodian, and KPMG leads in the auditing stakes, with 296 funds, while Ozannes are the top legal adviser with 359 funds under their wing.
