QuoVadis, KyberPass Alliance Enhances Security For E-Business

QuoVadis Limited, the first global offshore commercial digital certificate authority, and Kyberpass, a leading provider of e-security software for trusted e-business, have announced that the Kyberpass Validation TrustPlatform has been selected to provide real-time validation capabilities for QuoVadis' digital certificate customers. The Kyberpass Validation TrustPlatform validates digital certificates and digital signatures for securing electronic business applications.

In a statement released by Quo Vadis, CE) Tony Nagel said: 'While reputable offshore companies pursue the efficiencies of electronic business, they increasingly use digital certificates for superior security and to fulfill "know your client" obligations. Our combined solution allows corporations to check the validity of digital certificates, in much the same way a retailer verifies credit cards.'

Many first-generation OCSP-based products simply validate the certificate. By contrast, the Kyberpass Validation TrustPlatform can also validate the digital signature and other digital credentials. Based in Bermuda, one of the first countries to legalise digital signatures, Quo Vadis's clients include some of the largest names in Bermuda's insurance market in addition to a range of companies from across the offshore industry.
