The State of Qatar and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg have signed in Luxembourg a double taxation agreement on the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of tax evasion regarding taxes on income and capital.
The agreement was signed for Qatar by Director of Public Revenues and Taxes Muftah Jassem al-Muftah, and for Luxembourg by Finance Minister, Luc Frieden. It reflects the two countries' keenness to develop closer bilateral relations, especially in the areas of trade and investment, and to diversify economic cooperation.
