New York City will be the venue for a major Private Banking Forum organised by the conference division of business information company Marcus Evans. The conference, which will explore the challenges facing private banking for the world's wealthy, will take place 19-20 March 2001.
The Private Banking Forum: Meeting the Needs of a New Generation will feature presentations and cases studies from a raft of international experts, who will address a number of key areas, including how technology and the Internet (e-commerce) are radically altering the face of private banking and how staff and management will need to adapt in order to accommodate a new generation of client. Conference highlights will include topics such as traditional vs non-traditional private banks; online training for private banking; offshore banking and its effects on private banking; regulatory issues and presenting an incorporated method to tax planning for the affluent client.
Speaking at the conference will be representatives of US and international private banks including JP Morgan Private Bank, CIBC Trust and Financial Services in Zurich, Bankers Trust Private Bank, Bank of Bermuda, Credit Suisse Private Bank, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Services, Bank of America Private Bank and Destiny Websolutions Inc.
The conference aims to attract, among others, heads of private banking, alternative investments, wealth management, private banking asset management, trusts, client relationships and e-commerce and technology.
