Private Bank Introduces On-Line Account Monitor

Gerrard Private Bank has introduced a new web site allowing clients of its highly innovative Focus service to view their account details in real time over the Internet. Interest has been especially high amongst international clients who utilise the multi-currency banking and investment service.

Launched at the beginning of 2001, Focus enables clients to hold all investments within an integrated bank account providing an all in one summary report of the their assets. As a client's lifestyle changes and hence their financial needs evolve, so can the structure of the account without the need to complete any further documentation. The service has proven extremely popular, considerably exceeding financial targets in its first year.

Using Gerrard Private Bank's new web site (www.gerrardpb.com), clients can view their account details in real time and access a full trading history. Clients of the Bank's popular Euro Reserve Account will also be able to view their account details on-line. The site incorporates strong security protocols, with clients required to successfully complete two levels of security to access their account details.

The bank says that the multi-currency capability of Focus has even greater attraction following the launch of the Euro. Designed for clients with at least £50,000 (or currency equivalent) for deposit or investment purposes, Focus allows clients or their financial adviser to select from a wide range of services and construct an account that suits their specific requirements. The range of services include a multi-currency high interest bank account, full investment dealing and custody services, Gold Visa card, fixed term deposits, foreign exchange and secured lending (subject to approval). Each month an easy to follow summary valuation provides a clear snapshot of a client's net worth.
