Panamericana Television, Peru's largest broadcaster, has been seized by the country's tax authority amid claims it has failed to pay around PEN116m (USD39m) in tax.
According to the National Superintendence for Tax Administration (the Sunat), the outstanding bill dates back as far as 2004.
The Sunat is now expected to conduct a six-month long financial investigation of the broadcasting company, which has been appointed a new administrator.
