Pakistan's Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) announced this week that it had agreed to extend the last date for filing of annual withholding tax statements to September 5, 2008.
The FBR made the decision to extend the deadline, from the previous date of August 31, "with no penal action".
All withholding tax agents were made aware, however, that they must ensure filing of their annual withholding tax statements no later than the extended date.
