Croatia and Oman have signed an agreement for the avoidance of double taxation with respect to taxes on income, in an effort to increase economic ties.
The agreement was signed by the Omani Minister for the Economy, Abdulnabi Macki, and his Croatian counterpart, Duro Popijac.
The agreement will boost economic ties by removing barriers to trade and investment via the laying of a beneficial legal framework on taxing rights, eliminating double taxation in the respective countries.
Alongside the convention on the avoidance of double taxation, the two countries also signed Memoranda of Understanding in the fields of education and tourism.
