It was announced last week that Ogier has been named 'Offshore Law Firm of the Year 2007' in the inaugural Citywealth Magic Circle awards.
The winners were chosen by Citywealth editor Karen Jones, following feedback from leading wealth management industry individuals.
Citywealth is a specialist wealth management publishing house that features global accountants, lawyers, trustees and private bankers who serve the super rich.
Ms Jones explained that:
“Ogier have been innovative and joined up in their expansion plans and have shown a good mix of business acumen backed by first class legal, trust and fund expertise. It is rare to find an organisation held in such high esteem.”
Ogier partner Steve Meiklejohn, who collected the award on Thursday announced that:
“I am delighted for my team that we continue to be recognised by industry peers for excelling in the private client area, demonstrating that we still thrive on providing a quality service to each of our clients while at the same time expanding the firm globally.”
