A new tax treaty has been signed between Malta and Denmark but has yet to come into force. Danish withholding tax on dividends is 15%, but only 5% when the Maltese company holds more than 25% of the paying company's capital. Danish withholding tax on interest and royalties is normally 10%.
A new tax treaty has been signed between Malta and Croatia, also yet to come into force. Croatian withholding tax on dividends is 5%; Maltese withholding tax is zero on dividends, interest and royalties.
