A new website has been launched in the United Arab Emirates offering a wide range of residential and commercial properties for rent across the region. PropertiesofArabia.com, the first of its kind in the UAE, provides the visitor with access to 360 degree tours, photographs, graphics, location maps and floor plans free of charge.
Based in Dubai, the website also offers information on property-related services and products such as furnished apartments, movers and packers, interior decorators, maid services, furniture and home appliance dealers, curtain and carpet suppliers, home entertainment providers and even a Feng Shui consultant. But you'll need to know what resources are available if you're thinking of moving into an area so there is additional information on education, health and financial services.
PropertiesofArabia.com is the result of a partnership between the industry magazine, Emirates Property Guide, and Arabianbiz.com, the online information portal thus forming the first comprehensive information service on real estate in the region. The website states: 'This makes us the first and only real estate guide in the region to offer a comprehensive property website backed up by a free monthly hardcopy. Property seekers, estate agents and landlords have recognized this combination as the optimum source of information on property.' The hardcopy of Emirates Property Guide currently enjoys a circulation of approximately 15,000 each month.
The website has joined up with Spatial Data Integrators to provide a Geo Reference Locator service for each of its properties. This enables each property to be allocated a unique GRL number and when property seekers are interested in seeing exactly where the property is located, they only need to press the location map button and a map is displayed, showing the precise location of the property.
Spokesperson for PropertiesofArabia.com, Ahamad Yusuf, explains: 'This will make us the only organization in the Gulf, if not the entire Middle East, to offer property information and advice in three mediums, that is, on the Internet, hard copy and on WAP.'
