The second meeting of Banking and Finance Professionals, organised by the Department of Labour in partnership with the Monegasque Association for Financial Activities and the Banking Training Institute, was held on March 26th, 2008.
The main purpose of the day was to assist young individuals keen to enter into contact with representatives from banking establishments to obtain information on careers, training, professions and prospects for careers in banking and finance.
Ten banks and asset management companies actively took part in this event, delegating 26 of their executives throughout the day.
Furthermore, the youngsters also had the opportunity to find out about the curriculum and course for the “Diplôme Européen d’études supérieurs de Banque” (European Higher Diploma in Banking) - option: “The Monegasque banking centre”.
A round table bringing together interested parties and professionals also took place on the topic: “The financial centre in Monaco: training and careers” led by Sophie Vincent, Head of the Youth Employment Unit, Jérôme de Roquigny, Director of the Banking Training Institute, Edouard Jagodnik, President of the European Federation of Schools, Jean-Marc Safar, President of the European Bank Training Certification Association and Franck Ciosi, Treasurer at the CFM.
