Manx Companies Offer Offshore E-Commerce Package

Isle of Man consultancy DR NewMedia Limited and multimedia design company Arts-Interactive Ltd have announced OffshoreCart, billed as the world's first hosted shopping cart solution aimed at offshore e-commerce businesses.

Say the companies: 'Under the guidance of your tax advisor, our shopping cart and/or web space can be used together with an offshore company in a tax free e-commerce strategy. It is quick and easy to set up - your shopping cart can be set up and running within 24 hours. It is cost effective - 1st month free then US$100 per month (payable 6 monthly in advance). OffshoreCart is an Internet based shopping cart application that can be added to your existing website. OffshoreCart adds shopping cart and payment functionality to your existing site.'

OffshoreCart is currently being offering free to Manx businesses that use Arts Interactive to put together their website.

Arts Interactive is describes itself as 'a unique multimedia design company'. Founded in 1994, Arts Interactive offers innovative, interactive solutions specializing in web site development and e-commerce, multimedia (such as touch screen kiosks, interactive CD-ROMs and animated web sites) and traditional print. Says the company: 'We aim to combine cutting-edge design with industry-leading solutions. We have grown up from an initial local to a current international business, both in terms of clients and suppliers.'

DR Interactive says that it provides practical assistance in setting up eBusinesses offshore. 'Our services are focused upon the Isle of Man and Channel Islands; both of which are excellent stepping stones into the EU from a taxation and regulatory point of view.'
