The Maltese Financial Services Authority is currently developing a specialised website aimed supplying consumers with comprehensive information about the island's insurance industry.
The website will be launched under the slogan 'Understand your insurance. Make it your policy', and will be available in both Maltese and English following a 'frequently asked question' style of format. The site will contain a glossary of over 100 terms commonly used by the insurance industry in addition to providing more general information about insurance policies and premiums. It will also provide consumers with more specific advice about the insurance industry in Malta, giving suggestions on procedures to follow when taking out insurance.
The website is due to be launched next month and is part of the Maltese FSA's long-running project to educate consumers on the island's financial services.
