The Malta Financial Services Authority has published its draft report on proposed listing rules, which are to be introduced later in the year in accordance with Section 13 of the Financial Markets Act.
The listing rules will provide the regulatory framework to which organisations must adhere before being permitted to list any securities. The rules also set out the disciplinary, investigative and enforcement powers of the Listing Authority in relation to these listed securities.
The public are invited to put forward any views or comments on the listing rules, and the Authority has announced that it would particularly invite feedback from investors in securities, stockbrokers, current issuers of securities and other financial intermediaries.
