On Wednesday the government officially launched a call for a strategic partner so that the e-government concept could be introduced in Malta. The Parliament already approved two laws and the government published a white paper concerning e-government. The government wants a long-term agreement of 7 years which is different from the traditional client-company relationship. The government wants the relationship to be a 'win-win' one, where both parties benefit by helping each other.
