Lloyds TSB Offshore has announced the launch of a new service for international customers called the Lloyds TSB International Personal Banking Service.
The firm says that the International Personal Banking Service is designed to reflect growing international trends, which has led to a far wider group of customers using Lloyds TSB's Offshore services. Originally these were primarily British expatriates, but increasingly the bank has seen customers living or retiring abroad, working abroad and foreign nationals based in their home country opening accounts.
There will be a range of specialist accounts and services provided by Lloyds TSB International Personal Banking Service, including current accounts, savings accounts, mortgages and loans. The service will also be enhanced with two flagship accounts, the International Account and International Premier Account. The International Premier Account is aimed at customers with balances of £100k plus and offers all the benefits of the International Account, plus a dedicated, named International Banking Relationship Manager and free airport lounge access.
David Oldfield, Offshore Banking Director, Lloyds TSB, says: "The needs of our international clients have grown and changed immensely since we launched the Overseas Club in 1989. The service has been very popular, but research and our knowledge of this market indicate that it's time to take it to a new level - reflecting the new trend of the 'global citizen'."
The benefits of the International Account, designed to fit with an international lifestyle, include:
In addition, international customers can receive expert help with general tax and finance enquiries as well as a referral system for those requiring banking facilities from a local bank abroad. This new offer forms part of the wider Lloyds TSB International offer that also includes International mortgages.
