A new Internet marketing company has been launched in the Channel Islands. Linesnapper.com is offering local businesses the opportunity to attract more visitors to their websites with an electronic White Paper entitled 'Net Yourself More Customers' which explains how to raise their profile on the Internet using the basic principles of online promotion.
The web site's services include creating and positioning online advertisements for sites, raising the profile of web sites on search engines, direct email marketing and other online marketing strategies. James Colmer, manager of Linesnapper.com, explained: 'There are now more than five million publicly available websites on the internet and with each one vying for attention it is becoming increasingly difficult to attract visitors.'
He added: 'A lot of time and money can be spent on creating a world class website, but if it's not properly promoted it will almost certainly be sidelined. Linesnapper.com is there to give e-businesses the power to compete on a global scale.'
In agreement is Peter Griffiths, IS/IT Strategist for the States of Jersey, who declared: 'Initiatives such as these are examples of how e-businesses can utilise methods to promote British Channel Island (BCI) companies in the global e-rena. This is what the BCI initiative is all about. It is based on the premise that two voices are louder than one and in essence is a collaboration between Jersey and Guernsey to promote the benefits of offshore e-business to the world.'
