Liechtenstein has announced the appointment of tax specialist Irene Salvi as Head of the principality’s tax administration team within its international department.
According to the administration, Irene Salvi will immediately assume full operational responsibilities in the area of international tax law, including the negotiation of double taxation agreements and the handling of foreign requests for mutual assistance.
The administration notes Salvi’s extensive experience in international tax law, both in the field of academia and in the business environment. With a doctorate in international tax law, Salvi has been in charge of tax in a listed Swiss company for many years, and has been a tax partner in a prestigious accounting firm in Zurich. Salvi has also worked in the US for two years.
