The Isle of Man branch of KPMG International, one of the 'big five' accounting and consultancy firms, recently announced the launch of its Offshore Executive Briefing service. KPMG say that the service aims to keep finance professionals in the jurisdiction alert to emerging international issues, and is targeted at executive and non-executive directors, senior managers and compliance officers.
'In todays business world, it is imperative that directors and senior managers maintain a constant awareness of burgeoning issues within their global market environment to ensure that business opportunities can be maximised and any potential threats minimised,' said KPMG.
The firm also said that it hoped to provide an understanding of local regulatory developments, which is essential for financial professionals in order that appropriate support can be given to the compliance function in reacting to regulatory change.
The service is available in a newsletter format, which must be subscribed to on a yearly basis, and promises relevent content to offshore regulated business
