Accounting firm KPMG has announced the launch of a new Isle of Man ‘Business Barometer’ survey.
The survey will canvas the opinions of a wide cross section of organisations within the island’s business community, and the firm states that the intention is to build an accurate and revealing indicator of the prevailing attitudes and confidence of key business leaders.
According to KPMG: “In these changeable economic times, we feel that the establishment of a simple and focused service, providing indicators of current performance and future expectations direct from the local business community, will be invaluable as local organisations plan to reap the benefits and avoid the risks of the economic factors impacting our jurisdiction.”
“We suspect the results will make interesting reading!”
The survey is to be carried out quarterly, with the results published shortly afterwards.
