Jersey Finance will once again play host to a conference promoting the jurisdiction's finance industry to legal and financial professionals in the City of London, it has emerged.
Speakers at the conference, which will take place on April 28, include Senator Frank Walker, President of the Policy & Resources Committee, who will outline Jersey's strategy for economic growth in the keynote address.
He will also discuss the recent political and fiscal developments in Jersey and explain how they will continue to support the Island's financial services industry.
David Carse, OBE, Director General of the Jersey Financial Services Commission, will also speak at the meeting, outlining his regulatory agenda and explaining his approach towards the Island's financial services business.
Other speakers at the conference will include the BBC's Economics Editor, Evan Davis, and representatives from Jersey's finance industry such as Clive Jones, Chairman and Managing Director of Citibank (Channel Islands) Limited, Adrian Odell, Head of the Fund Legal & Regulatory Team at Bailhache Labesse, and Nicola Davies, Chief Executive of Mourant.
