Jersey Finance has announced this week that as part of its continuing efforts to drive international awareness, it has made two new appointments to significantly develop its overseas strategic planning.
The body, which is tasked with promoting the Jersey finance industry, announced on 20th August that their Head of Special Projects, Christine Whitfield will be taking on the task of analysing key target locations for their business potential. On the basis of her findings, she will be considering the feasibility of opening offices overseas in support of the Industry’s promotional activity.
In addition to this, Dara Lutes has been appointed to the post of Head of Marketing.
Her role is to ensure there is a fully integrated approach to the marketing, promotional and public relations activities of Jersey Finance and to develop additional marketing activity including a strong focus on e-marketing strategies.
Geoff Cook, chief executive of Jersey Finance, commented:
"These are two important appointments designed to assist Jersey Finance with both its strategic planning and the implementation of its key communication activities. They bring considerable expertise from their respective fields and I am delighted to welcome them to the team."
