A new website has been launched for the Isle of Man Government’s Branding and Marketing Initiative.
This new site will provide Isle of Man residents and those off-Island with information about the branding project which is being conducted by the Isle of Man Government. The project has received wide support and is being led by a Steering Committee chaired by the Chief Minister.
The Project Manager, Ian Gulland, who is encouraging people to visit the site, observed that:
“If you are from the Isle of Man you probably have heard something about this project and the website will provide you with more information about how the brand may impact you. For those of you who visit or conduct business on the Isle of Man this is a useful site that is worth re-visiting as the project progresses. Remember, your opinion counts!”
In April, it was announced that market research firm HPI had been appointed to support the Isle of Man’s rebranding efforts, as the jurisdiction continues an ongoing marketing project aimed at raising its international profile.
Alan Cooper, the Island-based managing partner of the UK-based company is leading a team of researchers in support of the branding consultants Acanchi. The latter firm was appointed by the Manx government in January to help steer the second phase of the ‘Marketing and Branding the Isle of Man’ initiative.
The HPI team is set to conduct qualitative and quantitative research among both residents and businesses on the Island, in addition to undertaking surveys among key business sectors in UK and foreign markets.
