A new web site, ‘Invest in Isle of Man’ has been launched by the Isle of Man government to help provide businesses and individuals with information regarding the Isle of Man, its economy and key industry sectors.
The launch of ‘Invest in Isle of Man,’ which can be found at www.investiniom.co.im, represents a key step in the development of a wider business portal which is intended to simplify how businesses and potential customers and inward investors interact with government, helping them gain accurate information effectively and efficiently.
The Manx government has recognised how the internet is increasingly used as the initial channel to conduct inward investment research and ‘Invest in Isle of Man’ presents an opportunity for the Isle of Man to project itself more professionally, similar to other “Invest in” sites used by national and regional inward investment agencies around the world.
The Chief Minister Hon Tony Brown MHK said of ‘Invest in Isle of Man’: “This initiative enjoys the full support of the Economic Development Committee of the Council of Ministers who saw the potential in having a dedicated business portal for the Isle of Man. I hope that our potential customers will use the site as a first step to help inform them of the benefits of doing business with us and to point them in the right direction for any further enquiries they may have.”
