Adrian Crawford, President of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland, this evening welcomed the reforming measures introduced by Minister for Finance, Charlie McCreevy in the Finance Bill 2000 which was published today. Mr. Crawford said that credit is due to the Minister for the measures he has introduced to benefit the elderly, the disadvantaged, employees on lower wages and the small business sector. He particularly welcomed the radical reforms introduced in respect of personal taxation for all Irish Taxpayers as well as the significant changes to our Capital Acquisitions Tax Code.
