The Isle of Man's Department for Economic Development has welcomed the launch of TradaCasino's online operations from the territory.

Welcoming the approval of its licence application, Tony Stewart-Lord, TradaCasino's Director, said: "This is an exciting time for us with our plans to launch a ‘No Download, Gaming on the Move’ model into a number of different countries. The licence from the Isle of Man allows us the opportunity to break into these markets, some which have an established e-Gaming customer base, and other new territories that offer great potential for online and mobile casino player development."

John Shimmin, the island's Economic Development Minister, said that TradaCasino's decision to locate to the Isle of Man is "testament to the safe and secure environment the Isle of Man provides for new operators that we can attract high quality new operators to use us as their major base".

Garth Kimber, Head of e-Gaming Development added: "Tradagames is an innovative company which undoubtedly has an exciting future in a number of countries. Their launch comes towards the end of another highly successful year for the e-Gaming industry on the Isle of Man, testimony to the robust framework we have in place to help new businesses thrive."
