The Isle of Man's Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) on Friday published details of the jurisdiction's deposit base for the first quarter of 2007.
According to the FSC, deposits increased by GBP2.56 billion (5.90%) to GBP45.95 billion between 31st December 2006 and 31st March 2007.
Deposits in the year to 31st March 2007 increased by GBP6.56 billion (16.65%) compared to the previous year.
The financial services regulator went on to reveal that deposits (net of local inter-bank placings) with Isle of Man banking licenceholders, including those held with overseas branches of Isle of Man incorporated banks, increased by GBP2.97 billion (5.45%) to GBP57.42 billion between 31st December 2006 and 31st March 2007.
