Manx Treasury Minister, Allan Bell will be seeking approval for his radical new programme of tax changes - including the zero corporate tax proposals designed to placate the European Union - at the next Tynwald sitting on October 15, according to an IoM Online report.
Meanwhile, there has been some uncertainty on the Island as to the dates of a forthcoming visit from the International Monetary Fund.
An IMF team recently concluded a review of Jersey's regulatory regime, and is expected to undertake a similar review of the Isle of Man soon. According to the chief executive of the Manx Financial Supervision Commission, John Aspden, although several dates are under consideration, nothing has been finalised as yet.
However, he told IoM Online that he expects the visit to take place by the end of this month.
